CCR (Commonwealth Care of Roanoke) is pleased to announce the appointment of President and Chief Operating Officer, David W. Tucker, to the Virginia Health Information Board of Directors and the Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital (CCCH) Advisory Board.

Tucker was appointed as a Nursing Facility Representative on the Virginia Health Information Board (VHI) of Directors and to the Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital (CCCH) Advisory Board as a Friend of the CCCH Committee Member.

VHI’s mission is to create and disseminate health care information, promote informed decision making by Virginia consumers and purchasers, and enhance the quality of health care delivery.

The Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital (CCCH) Advisory Board’s Family Advisory Council seeks to improve the healthcare experience for young patients and their loved ones at CCCH and its outpatient clinics by providing a forum for communication and cooperation between families, hospital staff, and hospital administration.
