CCR Using New Technology in Wound Patient Care

We had the exciting opportunity to meet with Congressman Morgan Griffith last week to demo a new technology at one of our centers, Radford Health & Rehab Center, to improve wound patient care.

Wound care nurses will be wearing a new piece of technology as part of our wound care program. This will allow our specialists and supervisors to assist in the assessment and treatment of different wound types to ensure our patients get the most accurate diagnosis and appropriate care.

This technology is being used at Radford Health & Rehab Center, Carriage Hill Health & Rehab Center, and Dinwiddie Health & Rehab Center In the coming months, Commonwealth Health & Rehab Center and Lee Health & Rehab Center will have this techology available at their centers.

As more updates become available on this exciting new technology, we will keep our communities updated.
