CCR (Commonwealth Care of Roanoke) Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer 

CCR (Commonwealth Care of Roanoke) is pleased to announce new chief financial officer Stan A. Huffman.

Stan A. Huffman is the new Chief Financial Officer of CCR. Stan has experience as both a Chief Executive Officer and a Chief Financial Officer with providers of nursing home, assisted living, outpatient therapy, pharmacy and home health services. Stan served as Chief Executive Officer of a non-profit senior housing and nursing home provider. Prior to becoming the CEO of the company, Stan served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Stan had been the Chief Financial Officer of a privately owned long term care provider in North Carolina with multiple locations in three states, and also served as the company’s president for three years. The company grew from a new start-up company to a multi-state provider that was listed as the 48th fastest growing privately owned company in the country by INC Magazine in 1999. Stan has also served in senior financial management positions with a Virginia based nursing home company. In addition to his health care industry experience, Stan has experience working in the manufacturing industry, spent twelve years with the public accounting firm Ernst & Young, and for five years owned his own financial management consulting firm working with privately owned business including technology start-up companies. Stan graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.  Stan succeeds Beth Fariss who served as Chief Financial Officer of CCR from its inception in 2001 to 2014
