Congratulations to our 2025 Deborah L. Petrine Employee of the Year Award Winner, Deborah Freeman!

Deborah exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated and compassionate leader. She has been a valued member of our team since March 12, 2013, and currently serves as our Director of Dietary Services, where she runs her kitchen with the highest of standards. Deborah leads by example, ensuring her department operates smoothly, all while never losing sight of the people she serves.

Our mission is to provide peace of mind to those we care for — our patients, residents, families, and staff, and Deborah lives this mission every single day.

A recent moment beautifully captured the essence of who she is. Deborah took extra time to rearrange a resident’s bed so he could comfortably watch the first snowfall of the year, a simple act that brought him immense joy. When his daughter arrived, she found Deborah cutting up her father’s food and speaking to him with such kindness and warmth. Deborah had already worked a full day, yet she continued to give her time, patience, and heart without hesitation.

Her special touch, compassion, and dedication were truly above and beyond. Deborah doesn’t just manage a department, she creates moments of comfort, dignity, and peace of mind for our residents and their families.

For these reasons and so many more, Deborah is deeply deserving of the 2025 Deborah Petrine Award. Congratulations, Deborah! Thank you for all you do!
