Celebrating 10 Years of Care at Dulles Health & Rehab Center
Ten years ago, Dulles Health & Rehab Center opened its doors in Herndon with a simple mission: to provide peace of mind to those we care for: our patients, residents, families and staff. Last Thursday, that mission was celebrated in style, with live music, refreshments, and a room full of the people who have made the last decade possible.
A Decade Built on Trust
A facility is just a building. What makes Dulles special is the people inside it: the nurses who remember a resident’s favorite song, the therapists who celebrate every small victory in recovery, the dietary and housekeeping teams who keep every day running smoothly behind the scenes, and the front desk team who greets visitors with a smile.
Over the past ten years, that kind of care has added up to thousands of families who trusted us with their loved ones, whether for a short-term rehabilitation stay or long-term care. Every one of those relationships has shaped who we are today.
An Afternoon of Gratitude
Last Thursday’s celebration brought together residents, families, staff, and community partners to mark the occasion. There was live music filling the courtyard, plenty of good food, and no shortage of stories swapped between longtime staff members and the families they’ve cared for over the years.
It was a reminder that anniversaries like this one aren’t really about the number. They’re about the relationships built along the way, one conversation, one meal, one small act of kindness at a time.
